Britain’s Financial Reporting Council fines KPMG for 3 million pounds

On Monday, Britain’s Financial Reporting Council stated, it has imposed a fine of three million pounds on accounting firm KPMG.

Apart from the fine, it has also reprimanded and fined KPMG’s senior partner Michael Francis Barradell for misconduct related to auditing of British fashion retailer Ted Baker’s accounts.

The fine related to the audit of Ted Baker’s accounts for the financial years ending January 2013 and 2014.
