Airplane makers have garnered orders for nearly $50 billion from London’s Farnborough Airshow.
On Thursday, Airbus SE stated it had won a provisional order for 10 A320neo planes worth $1.1 billion at list prices from an undisclosed customer.
The announcement comes in the wake of Boeing’s statement that it had won an order for 100 737 MAX planes worth $11 billion, at listed prices from an unidentified buyer.
Airbus SE’s new orders places the string of anonymous orders at London’s Farnborough Airshow, the biggest industry event of its kind in 2018, at nearly $50 billion.
