Fiat Chrysler to eliminate diesel passenger cars from across its brands

Fiat Chrysler is set to announce its intention vis-a-vis its diesel passenger vehicles on June 1, 2018.

On Monday, the Financial Times reported, citing sources familiar with the carmaker’s strategy, Fiat Chrysler plans on eliminating diesel from all its passenger vehicles by 2022.

Under a 4-year plan, which will be unveiled on June 1 2018, the carmaker plans on annoucing its intention to phase out diesel cars models across its brands.

When asked to comment on the report, Fiat Chrysler declined.
