The affected vehicle’s brake control systems will be updated.

Volkswagen’s spokesman has disclosed the company will be recalling 766,000 vehicles of its core passenger car brand worldwide in order to update its brake control systems.

As per the company, currently the braking control system may not function properly under certain conditions, viz when the driver under-steers, over-steers or slams the brakes.

As part of this recall, Volkswagen will call back 385,000 of its cars, including Skoda and Audi brands, in Germany, said the company’s spokesman.
