URS Federal Services clinches $3.6 billion contract from the Pentagon

The Donald Trump Administration is focusing on building a stronger military. The contracts are a testament to that end.

The Pentagon has disclosed that URS Federal Services Inc has been awarded a contract worth at least $3.6 billion for the delivery and servicing of an undisclosed amount/quantities of remotely piloted aircrafts.

It further went on to add, the contract amount includes subcontracts to AAI Corp, a unit of AAI Corp, and to Leidos, AASKI Technologies Inc for a total of $900 million. The subcontracts to these companies are fixed-price contracts for providing technical services and field support for Product Office Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

In its statement, the Pentagon also mentioned that it has also awarded a fixed-price contract worth $721 million to Hologic Inc for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity of radiology systems, accessories and training.
