Will VW bite the bullet and claim damages from top past and current executives?

Internal investigations have yet to assign responsibility for the diesel emission scandal that has plagued Europe’s top car manufacturer.

Hans Dieter Poetsch, Volkswagen’s chairman has stated that the company’s supervisory board is looking at the possibility of claiming damages from current and former board members in the wake of its diesel emissions scandal.

As reported earlier, Volkswagen’s supervisory board has ratified the decision to endorse the actions taken by the company’s top management in 2015.

Currently it is examining whether the very real possibility of whether it can claim damages from the company’s top former and current executives, as per Porsche’s spokesman.
